In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Savannah; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Georgia are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (912) 335-1993. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, chineserestaurantsavannah.com.

Savannah is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Savannah peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Absolutely stunning place with lots of delicious options! Especially amazing if your table is willing to share since the portions are pretty big. The bathroom is also very cute.

We came here at the recommendation of some locals, the food and service was AMAZING! We had the best soup dumplings here Iβve ever had. They were so good I wanted to come back for more and if we had time we would have! We dined in right when they first opened for the day, but we saw a lot of people doing takeout as well. We also had the orange chicken which came with some white rice. That was so good as well. They catered to my nut allergy and made sure of no cross contamination. Thank you, I will be back.

E-Tang came highly commended by our Airbnb host. I so badly wanted to love this place. Even though we arrived 30 minutes late for pickup due to driving through a severe thunder storm to get to Savannah - they had given our order to someone with a similar name and had to remake it. We waited 20 minutes for our new order. The food was pretty good at first, especially the chicken soup dumplings, but I found what appeared to look like and have the texture of a plastic bag and inedible (pictured below) in my chicken with mixed vegetables. The lo mein was also pretty good. Overall a bit disappointing and missed the mark for me.

E-tang was okay! I was not impressed with my beef lo mein or mongolian lamb at all. The fried rice was also pretty mid. However , the cold noodles and the General Tso shrimp were delicious. You cannot switch out the steamed rice for fried rice. The wait staff is pretty blunt and it could have come off as rude if I was not who I am. Overall, I would go back for the cold noodles and the shrimp but only for takeout. We spent $89 all together and I definitely do not think it was worth that.

We really enjoyed the food at E-Tang. We had the Fried Veggie Spring Rolls, Stir Fried Green Beans and Eggplant, Orange Chicken and the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Good size portions and everything was delicious.
